ADPC: Chief Audit Executive / Head of Internal Audit (Bangkok)

About this opportunity

The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), an autonomous international organisation working on disaster and climate resilience across Asia and the Pacific, is recruiting a Chief Audit Executive to establish and lead its Internal Audit function. The function follows the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and a Board-approved Internal Audit Policy.

The CAE reports functionally to the Board of Trustees (or Audit Committee) and administratively to the Executive Director. The role covers audit planning, engagements, donor and fiduciary assurance, and a quality assurance programme.

Requirements

• Active Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation (mandatory). CPA/CA, ACCA, CISA, CFE or CRMA is an advantage.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible internal audit, assurance or risk experience, including leading an audit function or team
• Experience reporting to a board or audit committee
• Experience with international organisations, the UN, INGOs or donor-funded programmes (highly desirable)
• Strong knowledge of COSO, the Three Lines Model, fraud risk, IT and cybersecurity audit, and data analytics
