About this opportunity

dnata, the Emirates Group's air and travel services company, is recruiting a Manager of Safety for its UAE Airport Operations in Dubai (job 24705).

You will drive the dnata Safety Management System (dSMS), lead Safety Improvement Plans and advise leaders through safety action groups. You will also oversee risk registers and corrective actions, analyse safety data for governance boards, and support investigations into significant occurrences.

Requirements

• Experience: a bachelor's degree and 10+ years in medical, safety or ground safety roles in aviation or heavy industry, including 5+ years running health and safety operations
• Qualification: a professional safety qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH, CSP, CRSP or the IATA Advanced Safety Certificate
• Investigations: proven accident and incident investigation experience, with a focus on root-cause analysis
• Systems: advanced knowledge of safety and integrated management systems, auditing and compliance
• Analysis: strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Travel: flexibility to travel when required
